SEM Strategist

The ideal candidate for our SEM Strategist will excel at creating strategies that build digital presence and conversions; will manage both organic and paid search campaigns; will inform our messaging; and will help us prove that great creative makes for better results.

Role overview:

  • A client-facing role pitching strategies and reporting on progress
  • Lead a team of 3-6 PPC and SEO specialists

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help guide content development to prove that great messaging can be even more effective
  • Must know all the technical aspects, but speak in layman’s terms for clients
  • Place and oversee placement of media in all forms of social and search
  • Update content on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, blogs, etc.
  • Assure content is relevant, appropriate, fresh, and produces measurable results
  • Keep leadership aware of current trends and new techniques and technologies
  • Use search data to guide strategy and creative development
  • Place paid media in Google Adwords or Social platforms
  • Incorporate SEM/SEO strategies
  • Monitor and report on digital trends
  • Monitor clients brand activity online with the goal of acquiring, building and maintaining an engaged digital community

Knowledge, skills and abilities required:

  • Strong site analytics skills
  • Solid communication skills – both verbal and written
  • Adwords certified
  • Ability to develop strong SEM/SEO strategies
  • Ability to write and oversee effective SEM/SEO copywriting
  • Knowledge of all social media platforms
  • Hubspot certification a plus
  • Management experience of junior talent a plus

Required technical knowledge:

  • Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Youtube, blogging, etc.
  • Strong capabilities in social media analytics programs
  • Basic understanding of HTML

Required years of experience & educational background:

  • Bachelors degree in a relevant field
  • 3+ years professional experience

Design & Production Intern

Wingnut is currently accepting applications for a Graphic Design & Production intern. Those who display passion for design & typography, and a basic understanding of production techniques will take precedence.

Main responsibilities include assisting the team with design and production across a broad range of platforms, in addition to some general administrative duties.

Proficiency with software applications like InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop is a must, as well as knowing your way around Microsoft Suite. Bonus if you have any experience with digital or interactive, video, or motion graphics.

This is a paid internship for someone looking to further their career in the design field. Ideally looking for someone who can commit to roughly 20 hours per week within a 3 month span, with the possibility to extend.
